Sedation Options

Sometimes pushing through isn't the most helpful approach. It’s softening the experience, using sedation to make dental care feel calm, controlled, and within reach.

Nitrous Oxide (Happy Gas)

One of the biggest advantages of nitrous oxide is how quickly it works and wears off. The effects begin within minutes, and once the gas is stopped, it leaves your system rapidly.

Twilight Sedation

One of the best advantages of twilight sedation is its predictability and adjustability, ensuring that you remain comfortable throughout your dental procedure.

What is the right level of sedation for me?

Sedation can be incredibly helpful, and for some patients, essential. However, more sedation is not always better.

Oral Sedation

One of the key benefits of oral sedation is that it helps with both before and during the visit. For people whose anxiety builds in anticipation, this can be particularly valuable.

General anaesthetic

Unlike other options, where you remain awake to some degree, general anaesthesia involves being completely unconscious for the duration of the procedure.
