Why join our study club?
Creating a fear-aware dental community is about more than individual practices - it's about fostering a shared commitment to improving how dentistry is experienced.
This community brings together clinicians who recognise the importance of patient-centred, anxiety-informed care and are actively working to evolve their approach. It provides a space for collaboration, shared learning, and ongoing development. Importantly, it also signals to patients that there is a growing network of professionals who take their concerns seriously.
Being part of a community allows practitioners to:
-
Share experiences and strategies
-
Learn from peers facing similar challenges
-
Stay updated on emerging evidence and techniques
-
Contribute to a broader shift in how dental care is delivered
The goal is not perfection, but progress - creating a culture where understanding, communication, and compassion are central to care.
The ADAMS Study Club will meet four times a year on the first Wednesday evening of each quarter. Membership is free and aims to increase the collective knowledge of dental professionals and reshape public perception of dentistry into something more approachable, supportive, and inclusive.
